Technology

Currently, the da Vinci® Surgical System, manufactured by Intuitive Surgical, is being joined by other digitally controlled surgical devices recently approved- or under development- for minimally invasive surgery. The Vattikuti Foundation has supported this growth- and will continue to explore any other means developed- to help provide safer, less invasive surgical procedures for patients around the world.

da Vinci Xi Surgical System
The da Vinci Xi® is the latest robotic surgery system from manufacturer Intuitive Surgical.
da Vinci® Surgical System
The da Vinci® Surgical System is the most recognized robotic surgery platform in use today.
Dual Console Systems
An available second console allows two surgeons to collaborate during a procedure. Dual console systems are effectively used in training new robotic surgeons, who an observe mentoring surgeons during a live procedure, or be monitored and assisted while performing whole- or portions of robotic procedures.
TilePro
The Intuitive 'TilePro' system enables the surgeon to view additional information in the surgeon console viewfinder from additional sources during surgery below the 3D image.
Firefly Fluorescence Imaging System
The Firefly Fluorescence Imaging System allows the surgeon to highlight important anatomical and blood flow points through near-infrared light visualization.
Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery
Stryker is the manufacturer of the Mako orthopedic robotic system. From the website: Mako enables you to have a more predictable surgical experience when performing joint replacement surgery. The current Mako System offers Partial Knee, Total Hip and Total Knee applications. Patient-specific pre-operative plan enables more accurate implant positioning.3-7 CT data is segmented to create a 3D model of the patient’s bony anatomy. An individualized pre-operative plan is created and reviewed with you prior to the Mako procedure.
Yomi
Yomi is a Dental robot manufactured by Neocis. It is designed to augment the dental surgeon in placement of dental implants. From the website: Yomi is changing implant dentistry as the world’s first robot-assisted dental surgical system. Neocis developed Yomi to increase accuracy and aesthetics in dental implant procedures through visual and physical guidance and a simple digital workflow. Yomi is cleared by the FDA and is in clinical use with leading dental surgeons.
Medtronic Mazor X Stealth edition
The Medtronic Mazor X Stealth Edition uses robotic-based technology for spinal and brain surgery.  From the Medtronic website: The Mazor X Stealth Edition robotic guidance system allows for pre-operative or intra-operative planning and robotic and image-guided execution of multiple trajectories. The power of the platform is a preoperative planning suite with 3D analytics and tools that allow surgeons to work towards construct optimization. With our innovative imaging cross-modality registration process, each vertebral body registers independently, and the robotic system analyzes and pairs images from different modalities, such as matching a preoperative CT with intraoperative fluoroscopy or 3D surgical imaging. On surgery day, the plan is realized using robotic-guided execution and real-time visualization, enabling a predictable procedure with defined trajectories, preselected implants, and no anatomical surprises.
Renaissance Guidance System
From the company website: Utilizing Mazor Robotics Renaissance® Guidance System in a spine program can improve the execution and outcomes in a wide variety of procedures, including: minimally-invasive and percutaneous degenerative repair, pedicle screw fixation for complex spinal deformity, and vertebral augmentation.
